The Winter/Spring 2011 issue of "Folklife Center News" contains an excellent article about Jean Ritchie and George Pickow. According to its title, the article is about the American Folklife Center acquiring their enormous collection of folk music related materials but it also includes an informative history of Jean and some amazing pictures including one of her with Woody Guthrie in 1948 and one with Judy Collins taken in 1963.
