If it's a folk concert surely these people should be communicating with flags or smoke signals, not modern contraptions! Seriously, if they can do this without distracting others then no problem. If they are spoiling someone else's enjoyment of a performance then they should be told in no uncertain terms and asked to leave. Personally I find people talking during a performance, which happened at Beverley in one concert, more distractive.
