There's one other thing that's really frustrating, and that happens quite often. Sometimes, your computer will display a Mudcat page that is stored on your computer, and is not freshly loaded. If you enter a message on that stored page, it won't post on Mudcat. So....it's a good practice to double-check each time you post a message, to be sure the message "took." If the message didn't post, you can usually (not always) retrieve it by using the "back" button on your browser to go back to the page where you typed it. Highlight [CTRL-A] the text and Copy [CTRL-C] it to the clipboard of your computer, and then reload the page by pushing the F5 key on your computer or clicking the circular-arrow "refresh" icon on your browser. Then Paste [CTRL-V] the text into the message box, and submit. When I type especially long or profound messages, I copy the text to my clipboard before submitting, so I have a backup copy in case the message doesn't "take." Usually, when messages don't post, it's for technical reasons. We rarely delete messages. -Joe-
