But it is a Northern song, and therefore probably quite unknown in Bavaria. I can't remember now, but it may actually have started out as a song in Low German. You obviously missed Liederjan's addition. Can't remember what kind of facial hair it referred to but it ended with Bin Folklorist, fideri fidera, sauf jeden Mist, fideri fidera ... Adding to songs is fun! I've just found out that some friends have made a song about our hometown of Kiel using a popular Woody Guthrie song and some of its ideas.
