You Tube has a series of The Good Old Days from Leeds City Varieties They were produced by Barney Coolahan and recorded and broadcast on BBC around the 60s/70s. There was also Balmbras Music Hall in Newcastle which re opened in 1962 on the centenary of the Blaydon Races and lasted for quite a few years.
