Sorry...I was just saying, the Cobblestone at the top of Smithfield market, right by the Ceol museum and Jameson distillery. A wonderful place, very cozy. The listening venue is upstairs and they have a great downstairs Sunday session. I saw Niamh Parsons and Calico there a few weeks ago.
However, I might add that the ceol gets better the further west you go; Galway City is fantastic, as well as Cork city, I would recommend Shop street in Galway and the An Spailpin Fanach in Cork. Dingle town has some great venues too, especially when you're not looking for them. Also try Buckley's bar in Killarney.
Avoid Doolin though. It's become a mecca and it's full of German music fans and musicians who have complicated the ceol so much that not even the Irish know how to play it anymore.
There aren't many REALLY good ceol spots around Dublin that unfamiliar Yanks etc. have a way to know about. There might be a place or two tucked away near the Sally Gap, and some good ones in Kilkenny, but you have to really do your homework. The West would be your best bet.
