Big Joe Williams was a friend of mine. He never mentioned having written this,but I would not be surprised. I hardly jeard him do anything the same twice;sometimes he really got going. Some people had trouble understanding his speech,but I did not after I got to know him.It was always better if I was face to face. He did not read or write and got paid in cash.I imagine they paid in cash when he did an album,signing something he did not understand.I wish I had been older so I would have realized he needed help to get paid for things.Cooked great fried chicken.
