For those who may not be able to open the link I'll put the main post here. Also, if anyone knows David Delarre, from Mawkin, could they let him know, as his Mum is Diane's best friend.

"I am posting this to let people know that on last Saturday evening, 12th Nov. I arrived at Diane Easby's house to discover that she had collapsed, and had been unable to get up. It is likely that she had been lying there for up to 48 hours, unable to reach her house phone and unable to use her mobile which had been stolen some weeks before.

I was visiting her at the end of an England tour and I am now back in Iceland. The ambulance staff who took her to hospital took both my English and Icelandic phone numbers and said that the hospital would call me to update me on her condition. As of now, I've heard nothing and I do not know which hospital she has been taken to.

I know very little about Diane's social circle or family contacts and am therefore not in a position to let people know what has happened. Given the state I found her in, it is also quite possible that Diane has not been able to inform people either."

I checked with Ian before posting this and he gave me the go ahead to put the word out just in case there are people on here who know her and who can help her in any way.
