The builder has been this morning, and told me the electrician is working in the village. What time I'll get him remains to be seen. Apparently the workforce has has the stupid error virus this week, and he said he could have happily sacked them all! Even John, one of the joiners, and extremely reliable, let his van run out of diesel!

So...the sparky should be here some time today, (and maybe tomorrow, if he doesn't get finished). The plumbers are definitely coming next week (not sure when) and the joiners are going to be here from Monday, until they are no longer needed.

He said he wasn't sure if he'd get the yard done before the holiday, but I always felt that was something that could be delayed - if last year's snow is repeated, there will be no chance! However, he said the inside will be done. How much time I'll get to clean and de-clutter the rest of the place is not known.
