GUEST,Graham abc converter to whistle tab (25) RE: abc converter to whistle tab 28 Nov 11

Sleeping on the dulci tab idea, it dawned on me that all it needs to do is tab out the melody dots (as with your smart Kesh example), because ones spare fingers will naturally fall on the other strings thus forming the accomp chords when needed. The chord changes can be left -as is- in the abc code in quotes, if that makes sense.

I guess that the only other point is, if one is playing a 1st string melody note up at say 10th fret, any following lower note would probably need to be on one of the other strings within 4 frets away for comfort rather than opting for an open string. There, dead simple, maybe! Cheers Graham.

ps: I'll try and find someone to walk me through the button pushing to load in your mando file (me king pc moron!).
