Thanks for the feedback - your comments will be duly noted and taken on board! We have had some really nice and constructive compliments from readers, which makes us all the more ready to carry on. We are already starting to plan our next issue, and I know that it's going to be great. Wales has this hidden but extremely rich traditional culture. We want to write articles about the wonderful Plygain Christmas carols, the mysterious Mari Lwyd tradition, the beautiful music of the crwth, spectacular Welsh dance and clogging, the history of the Welsh triple-harp, the fantastic CD released by the 60-strong Y Glerorfa, which is an offshoot of the educational-minded CLERA... I could on, but I shall not! Meanwhile, Wales offers a stunning and very visual home to the musicians who have settled here, and great artists plan to play a number of the arts centres and theatres around the country - take a look at our comprehensive Listings, whick covers the whole of Wales. Folkwales salutes our traditional Welsh artists, especially Mered Evans and Phyllis Kinney who have contributed so much to the culture of Wales - and we have not even scratched the surface...
