Our dog barks whenever there's an animal on the tv. One of my cats had to have a leg amputated several years ago. While she was recovering, she had to be confined to a 2x4 cage. We would leave the tv on to amuse her when we went out. I came back one time and went to pet her to give her some company and she totally ignored me. I saw her head moving back and forth and saw she was totally engrossed in a NASCAR race. Next thing you know, she'll be drinking beer and voting Republican.
