BB Len Berry funeral details (2) Len Berry funeral details 06 Jan 12

For those of you not on Facebook, Bob has posted these details:

You may or may not be aware that Len berry passed away in Hospital on Christmas day after suffering from Pneumonia. He already had Vascular Dementia and was in a Home for about a year before his demise. We may already have told you about the funeral arrangements so please excuse another lot of information.

The Funeral will be held in Chirk, North Wales, on the 20th January 2012. There will be a service at St Marys Church in Chirk at 11am and for those that wish to attend, Wrexham Crematorium at 12 noon followed by a wake afterwards in the Hand Hotel, Chirk with light refreshments and quite likely a few songs to send Dad on his way.

The family have decided that the funeral, though sad, should not be a sombre affair i.e. no Black Ties etc. We want this to be a celebration of Dad's life so come with that in mind. We are informed that a delegation from his beloved Kirtlington Morris Men will be there so expect some dancing, music and a few songs.

A wish has been expressed to have Family Flowers only and donations to the Alzheimer's Society. If you wish to make a donation please send it to Edmund Rowlands and Son Funeral Directors, Ellemund House, Field head, Chirk, LL14 5PT or a collection will be made on the day.

If you are intending to attend the funeral we would be very grateful if you can let me us know by email, text or phone call - but fully understand that it is a long way to come if you are unable to attend.

Best wishes to you
Bob & Gill Berry
