I think that may be painting a distorted view of the Copper family, Richard. I was invited some years ago to one of the Coppers' "invitation only" evenings in Firle, and was the only person there with a guitar. Admittedly Bob was not there that night, but John Copper took the trouble to tell me personally how much he had enjoyed my playing. I saw no trace of purist elitism that night. Murray
