This is a great song. Andy Steward also does a version which has a little better meter. I have researched some of the words and have found the following; cant - auction humbug - flattery jibe - conjole wisp - bundle of straw wipe - rag swiper - from swipe (cheap beer) luck penny - small return from sale given for luck Please, does anyone know what a gommach is?
