During the early 80's there was a thriving pub music scene in Stoke Newington & Islington - and some great bands played at the Hare and Hounds in Upper Street (now sadly a winebar). High Speed Grass with Joe Locker and Robin McKidd were regulars. I'm interested in what became of The Idlers - guitar & mandolin duo, often a 5 piece with Piers Partridge playing Dobro, Adrian Legge guitars and a drummer and bass player.
