Hi Ian - PM replied to. The Great Lead Rush was from the first series of Ballad of the Northwest broadcast on Tuesday 7th August 1973 at 10:15pm. All of these programmes were broadcast as a national "opt out" and were only seen in the BBC North West broadcast area. Other regions had their own opt out programmes at this time.
