Just a reminder that Bude Folk Winter Warmer will be on this weekend, at The Falcon Hotel, Bude. We have taken over the hotel, there are 2 special price double rooms left at £50 (That's £25 per person per night B&B!) for Friday and Saturday night, and you will be in excellent company. If you don't want to stay, you are still most welcome to come and join us in the bar or carriage room for sesions and sings, kicking off at 7.30ish on Friday night. There will be a cabaret evening on Saturday night, anything might happen! and there is of course the Bude Inaugural International air bodhran competition being run between acts at the cabaret, competing for the stunning GOLDEN TIPPER award. Please DO NOT bring your bodhran.......Points will be awarded for best warm up ritual, best facial expression, best 'action' and most imaginative bribe to the judges.....and for those of a sensitive nature, this is just for fun!
