Just went onto Facebook and picked up this message from Dan.

Friends, I'm on the road in northern Indiana. Tandy called me last night to tell me that we had a fire at our house. She was out at the time and is fine but our sweet, beautiful dog Maeve died in the fire. The fire started in my office and all I know right now is that my computer & desk were destroyed, not sure about the books or instruments yet. I'm presuming that my calendar is also gone - no back up to the calendar, only some of the files on the computer are backed up. I have my laptop with me. Our phone is dead so please just keep us in your thoughts. I'll be home tomorrow & I'll post when I know more.

Couldn't see it on here and I know a lot of you would want to know.

Let's hope it's not as bad as he fears but it's a shame about Maeve.
