Probably not enough in it for folk "Industry". Well said, Banjiman - folk clubs are where most of our music is listened to - and where all the award winners started out. Most of them only deign to play concert venues these days, with a handful of exceptions - Martin Carthy, John Kirkpatrick, Vin Garbutt etc. But, as Steve Knightley tried to point out, the odds are stacked against folk musicians trying to generate even a modest income, whatever the type of venue.
