His daughter and her family probably looked after him during his final days. I think the Hopwood surnames are just a coincidence. Hopwood and Crew was a well-known publishing company based in London. This may be 'your' Elizabeth Hopwood's baptism at Manchester Cathedral: Baptisms: 2 Jul 1815 Collegiate and Parish Church, Manchester.
