"The Trip" series is, if not a direct sequel, a sort of companion piece to the earlier movie " Tristram Shandy: A Cock and Bull Story (2005)". which polarised critics and viewers into 'love it or hate it' positions. Both need to be viewed in the context of Brit comedians Coogan & Brydon's long established high profile tabloid / paparazzi media personas. So it's interesting how well the humour carries to a USA audience ?
