I was lucky enough to get a part time job yesterday and this will involve introducing kids to computers. The idea is that thanks to Govt. money we can put together a small suite of 6 or 7 machines and work as a group. One of the remits is to introduce them to the NET. There are safegaurds for nasty sites and I can hopefully get that sorted. However, some of the discussions on say Mudcat can at times be adult with strong language but the educational benefit of some of the threads is huge. So, should I let them read freely (I'm not talking about uploading!)or do I have to find some way of vetting, if so how? help and comments appreciated. Regards Baz.
