I followed the link provided by GUEST - On the page there was a link to a clip with John Kirkpatrick singing as song about the Aston on Clun Arbor Tree.

I still think that the International idea of a national holiday dedicated to planting trees and improving our environment, helping to combat global warming and create a sustainable supply of wood for future use is such a good idea. Of course, our governments (not just the current one) seem purely dedicated to lining the pockets of rich people who would rather cut down trees to make golf courses or speculate on land prices.
