If we 'celebrated' all bad things that us Brits have done there would be no time for all the running, jumping etc! But you could say the same about most nations. And for better or worse we have been involved in world affairs more than most. It might be better to celebrate some of the good things we have done. I could think of one or two. And about the World Wars - we didn't cause them, you know.
