On a slightly different note, why were England playing in a black (or was it navy blue?) and sky blue strip yesterday when there was no obvious colour clash with the Swedish strip? I assume it was to satisfy the well-known aesthetic sensibilities of our professional footballers. I'm sure it wasn't just a cynical ploy to encourage adolescent boys to fork out yet more money on over-priced replica kits! Could someone enlighten me?
