Does anyone have any information about Nova Scotia singer and songwriter Maurice Poirier? I'm working on a project about Atlantic Canadian disaster songs (http://disastersongs.ca) and I have his recording of "Black Ribbons" listed. However, I know nothing about Poirier himself or the song, which is apparently not by him. "Black Ribbons" apparently appeared on his 2001 self-produced album, Behind a Voice. I would appreciate any leads!
