Insurance compnies and private clinics and hospitals in America are only focused on profit. If something is not profitable it is not of interest. I am sitting in the heart unit of St. Luke's waiting for a second scan of my heart. So far today I have been injected with radioactive material, scanned, then injected with a chemical to stress my heart, had my blood pressure monitored by the minute, and finally injected with the "antidote" to the stress chemical. I have a number of other tests, pokes, and prods comong up. Sigh...
