Hello all, I know a small handful of you know about folktunefinder.com (a couple of threads here link to it). It's a search engine for folk tune melodies. Kind of like a mudcat for tunes. Pay a visit and find out exactly what it does and if it's useful to you. As of a couple of weeks ago it has a brand spanking new search algorithm which should make it even more accurate. It also now features contour search (aka Parsons code), so you can search using ups and downs. You can now type in uuuddddsududddd to find Argiers, if that's your kind of thing. Back to the Main Forum Page

By clicking on the User Name, you will requery the forum for that user. You will see everything that he or she has posted with that Mudcat name.

By clicking on the Thread Name, you will be sent to the Forum on that thread as if you selected it from the main Mudcat Forum page.

By clicking on the Subject, you will also go to the thread as if you selected it from the original Forum page, but also go directly to that particular message.

By clicking on the Date (Posted), you will dig out every message posted that day.

Try it all, you will see.
