And don't believe weather forecasts more than a few hours in advance.

Yesterday the Met Office forecast an all-day soaking for Sidmouth on Tuesday, now they are saying some rain tonight (it tried for a short while but has now stopped) and nothing much for Tuesday.

The rain forecasts even a day in advance are pretty much useless in very changeable conditions.

The Bulverton marquee looks awfully small perched on the hill - maybe it's wishful thinking on my part that it was larger!
