Whoops re my previous posting for A171 please read A169. There are also alternative pretty routes via Strensall, Sheriff Hutton and Hovingham which take about 20 minutes longer than a clear run, but you will not get one of those on Friday or Saturday. I see someone is recommending Little Chefs but I have not seen one open recently. They look most fetching in brick and plywood! cheers
