Word is we're doing a wee set on the Jacinta on the Monday along with Red Duster, Spitting on a Roast, Scolds Bridle and the Alan Bell Band... On Friday afternoon we're doing quite possibly the same wee set in the Euston for Camelia, followed later by Camelia's Sing Through Six in The Mount (which is one singaround not be missed). Could be we'll be at Dave's Late Night Cabaret on Friday in The New Boston too. Saturday morning we're hosting Poems & Pints in The Steamer with 'Sailor' Ron Baxter. Ballads welcome too, but nothing too long - this an equitable division of time, humility & humanity (we hope). Saturday afternoon in The Mount is the DEMDYKE 400 show - an All New Presentation Commemorating the 400th Anniversary of The Pendle Witch Trials with narration & lyrics by Ron Baxter set to music by Ross Campbell (singing, guitar & concertinas), Terry McCarron (singing), Rachel McCarron (singing, guitar & percussion) and Myself (fiddle, drones & singing). We're hoping for thunder storms, but chances are it'll be all 99's, sandcastles & What the Butler Saw (I do hope I get bronzed this year). On all this we'll be drawing the curtains... A special CD-R will be on sale at a very special price (we hope). Sunday - we're playing at The Mosely Festival, so an early start for the long drive south. Here's to a very happy 40th.
