The dots can't be an accurate representation of one particular "performance" either, seeings as there's much much more to the music it terms of the subtleties of rhythm, articulation and phrasing that the dots don't even attempt to represent. And I find it a moral obligation to steer the inexperienced away from such inaccurate representations of tunes
