Hi just found these messages, Shanachie Folk was a group based in West Yorkshire made up of Bill Harrison, Bill Bottomley, Andy Hill, Andrea Clarke, Pat Armstead, Stuart Murray and my father Gerald Ineson. They were a group of friends who did a number of charity concerts in and around the Dewsbury and Batley Area for charity events about 20 years ago. Many of the concerts they held were fund raisers for Martin House Childrens Hospice and they then decided to raise further funds by recording the album Children of the Night. The album was produced by Andrew Mullins in Wakefield who I would like to add refused to accept any money for his time or use of his facilities . Every penny raised therefore went to the hospice as the band only recorded songs where agreements had been reached with who ever held the rights to the song to waive their royalties. Sadly this was their only album and the band folded and will not be able to reform due to the sad deaths of both Andrea Clarke and Gerald Ineson
