Arkie BS: Higher Education = Democrat (41) RE: BS: Higher Education = Democrat 05 Nov 12

What an educational institution should do is teach students to sift through information, how to process that information, observe your environment and how to use that information. So in an election when you basically have two choices, you process the information and in the case of a political campaign, the lies and misinformation. While I do not think Obama walks on water when it comes to choices, he seems to provide a better course for the country. The whole Republican campaign is based upon a lie. The economic condition of the country is far better today than it was four years ago. Five and a half million more people are at work now and it would most likely be more if the Republican congressional delegates were not defeating legislation that would encourage more businesses to hire in this country. A horrible situation in the health care industry was addressed in spite of congressional opposition and businesses that were near bankruptcy are profitable and have paid back a large proportion of government loans. If one is taught to think and listen and process what is heard, one does not need a democrat to tell them that Romney, Ryan, and others are lying in statements made to the public and press. Listen to them. They contradict themselves and facts that are easily verified, but their own contradictions are enough to demonstrate that they are not trustworthy. Observation of people tells me that if a person lies to you to get your trust. They will continue to lie to you in the future. And going to college does not provide an education. You get the education by using the resources provided by the college.
