I recently purchased a used LP by an American folk singer named
Nancy Rhoades. The LP is called, Ballads & Blues of FolkMusic.

Album notes on back of LP cover indicates she was 17 years old when she made this album. She sings songs like "All My Trials" "Polly Von" "House of the Rising Sun" and others. It is a great album with further information that she was from North Carolina & a few other southern USA states. She has a lovely, lovely voice!

I tried doing a Google Search for her to find out more information, or if she recorded any other records and possibly still in the music business. I found a lot of hits - but all referred back to notes about the album and also three or four songs uploaded by someone on Youtube from this album.

I could not find any further information about this singer other then many, many references about the LP.

If anyone knows of this singer, what became of her after this one album and if she remained in the music business please post information.

She probably is married now so of course would have a different name.
I think the album was released around 1975.
