It is upstream of the Endeavour, SJ, but nothing like as far as Middle Earth. Come out of the Endeavour and turn left, about 4 doors along and through an inconspicuous arch, there's a set of seriously steep steps (about 128 if memory serves) up the side of the harbour, takes you up to Aelfleda Terrace. Some of us call 'em the kamikaze steps, or refer to Jude's many front doorsteps. There are easier ways to get there, but no vehicular access at all.
