What an absolutely brilliant night at the Stourbridge Folk Club. Numbers are up, merriment was high & most importantly the music was fantastic. The Bushburys, who are making a comeback (they were never really away, but are doing things more regularly now) were great - a perfect introduction to the "main feature" - Mr. Paul Downes. I've haven't seen such a blinding performance in quite a while. Yes, Paul was on top form and I had the pleasure of being there to watch. Everybody was laughing, singing & I think it is safe to say everybody had a truly wonderful night.
