Thanks for the translations. Fred - some of us have to watch this stuff on the telly because we can't afford to travel to the event itself. In our stead go presenters, who, as they cover a range ofevents centred around a theme, act as our proxies on the ground. We take their observations and comments and try to glean even a little of what the event is like, what it means to those involved and us as observers from afar. All this is bound together in a narrative that reveals, perhaps, some link between the events that is not immediately obvious to the ingested layman. I would have thought all that was pretty obvious really.
