Valmai Goodyear Sussex Annual All-Day Singaround 19 January (24) Sussex Annual All-Day Singaround 19 Feb 14 Jan 13

Royal Oak, Barcombe, East Sussex BN8 5BA

The day begins as usual with an hour of join-in tunes while people arrive. Singing starts at noon; ballads and the occasional instrumental party piece will be very welcome. There's a break from 6.00 - 7.00 p.m. After the break we'll continue the singaround, and after completing the circuit of the room we'll try to put on anyone who hasn't yet sung. Food is on sale until 9.00 p.m.

11.00 - 12.00                 Tunes session led by Bryan Creer
12.00 - 1.30 p.m.         Dave Earl and Elizabeth Rimmington
1.30 - 3.00 p.m.         Sandra Goddard & Valmai Goodyear
3.00 - 4.30 p.m.        Diane & Steve Nevill
4.30 - 6.00 p.m.         Liz Randall & Steff King

6.00 - 7.00                 BREAK

7.00 - 8.30 p.m.         Hilary Ward & Valmai Goodyear (will encourage anyone who hasn't sung to come forward)
8.30 - 11.00 p.m.         Peter Collins (to arrange generous final hour of choruses)

We MC in pairs, with one person collecting names and making sure people get good notice of their turn, so you know you can go to the bar or the loo without getting missed. The other MC calls out the names before and after each person has sung, so if you didn't hear the name when they started you should be able to catch it afterwards. There is plenty of space and the acoustics are good. It usually takes 2-3 hours to complete a circuit of the room.
