It's a nightmare Tone. Couldn't find any reference to The Doncaster festival (actually your post is the first I've heard of it). We've been in dialogue with the Swaledale festival and decided(with them) that our event is complimentary to theirs rather than clashing in any way. They have no "folky" events that weekend and are doing nothing in Bedale this year (Swaledale fest runs for several weeks throughout Swaledale and covers all arts). I guess people can pay their money and take their choice! Why not come up on Friday night or Sunday?
