There are neck and shoulder issues with both violin and viola. Some help and advice when purchasing is invaluable. I have a viola that is huge and hard to play; also one that is only slightly bigger than a 4/4 fiddle. Different chin and shoulder rests can make a huge difference in playing comfort.
