Vicki Swan & Jonny Dyer are young, inspired & enchanting performers currently taking the folk world by storm. They both sing. Vicki plays Scottish Smallpipes, the ethereal Swedish nyckelharpa, flute, Border pipes & double bass; Jonny plays guitar, accordion & low whistle. They play British traditional & Swedish music & their own songs & tunes. Both have huge technical knowledge and skills.

N.B. Booking is recommended as numbers are limited. Music will be sent in advance & maps & accommodation lists on request.

The workshop will cover Scottish pipe music using Scottish Smallpipes tuned in D and will cover a variety of different styles of tune and techniques. For any instrument that can play in the keys of D and G.

VICKI SWAN NYCKELHARPA WORKSHOP for any instrument
Sunday 21st. April 10.45 a.m.- 4.45 p.m. Places £35
The workshop is aimed at nyckelharpa repertoire and will focus on technique and repertoire. Some instruments are available to borrow: book early to reserve an instrument. Any chromatic instrument is also welcome.
