Apparently the Barnett formula (not so much a formula as a stick a finger in the air and pull out a number) is based on the population size and not their needs. Therefore, the richer the Scottish economy becomes and the better off the population becomes under the Barnett formula they still get more money. Go figure! Anyway, I'm going to move to Scotland and vote for full independence
