Just back from ARRAN ... yes thats the place with no electricity!! despite that we managed to get to two very good if cold venues for some great music. First was THE KILDONAN HOTEL in Kildonan this is on a Saturday night a great mixture of music from trad folk to jazz and beyond complete with two harpists.
The EDEN BAR in Whitting Bay was the choice for Sunday afternoon. Supposedly 2.00 til 5.0 but we left at 7.00pm and it was stil going strong.
Got a warm reception in both and would have been warmer had their been any elecricity !!!! Or Fires . Managed to warm up over the odd candle.
