Thomas, I'm coming up empty in a search (on the Clancy website as well) as I only have a reference to it in the original 1962 release liner notes towards the end: "Ways for teachers and parents to use this material will be found in a companion book, "So Early in the Morning", which is now being prepared. The book also contains the music to all the songs, with guitar chords, acknowledgments and historical graphical information on the Clancy family." These songs were collected by Diane Hamilton, but I can find little else she has done, though the liner notes refer to several different collections she made. My fear is that the companion book never was completed/published, but I am trying to be hopeful as I really want to use these collected songs/games in my classroom! I've put the question out to the Kodaly Society of Ireland (Kodaly Music Educators are great for collecting folksongs and their games) to no avail to this point. If you can think of elsewhere for me to look, please pass on the information. Thank you.
