I concur with Backwoodsman that this is a brilliant song ... "Geronimo's Cadillac" is, to me, one of the finest songs to come out of the early 70s. It did well on the charts, too. Wikipedia (click) says: "It was released in July 1972 as the lead single from his debut album of the same name Geronimo's Cadillac. The song peaked at #37 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart and at #30 on the Canadian RPM Top Singles chart." And Murphey's performance in the vein of "just a bunch of friends singing a song they love" is irresistibly fetching too. It's running around my brain as I write. Bob
