i came upon a rattler on our porch recently....one neighbor dialed 911 because she hear a sound on her porch, and thought it was a gas leak ...turned out to be a rattle snake...and she had been reaching around the area trying to find out what it was...she was lucky that it didn't escalate into a medical emergency....
