Hiya, it's come to that time of the year again when I do my 'Walk for Amos' Challenge. Amos for those of you that don't know is my Grandchild no. 4 ( of 5), he's 3 years old now, but he was born with a rare liver disease known as Billary Atresia and at 9 weeks old he had to have a 7hr. op. to save his life. it was successful, but he'll most likely need a liver transplant before he's an adult. Because of this, each year I do a challenge walk to raise money for the Children's Liver Disease Foundation. This year my Challenge is to walk the Perimeter of the North York Moors National Park in 6 1/2 days, a total of 160 miles, This my intended route. July 21st Whitby to Scarbro 22 miles July 22nd Scarbro to Newton upon Rawcliffe 26 miles July 23rd Newton upon Rawcliffe to Helmsley 26 miles July 24th Helmsley to Osmotherley 21 miles July 25th Osmotherley to Gt. Ayton 27 miles July 26th Gt.
