GUEST,Lizzie Cornish BS: George Rolph's Hunger Strike againstATOS (35) RE: BS: George Rolph's Hunger Strike againstATOS 09 Jul 13

This was his letter. It had got to the point where only the Dingbats would still believe him....and this is how he got out of it. About the only folks who write on his page now are Christian folks...and it's being rumoured that a very of the most supportive pages belong to George himself. This may, or may not be true, for we know from our little crazy one in Mudcat that some folks make FB pages in the names of others and chatter away on those pages all by themself.   I'd not put anything past this man...He is, imo, seriously off the wall...but he is also doing a helluva lot of damage by riling up some men who are not always the nicest of characters...We all know there are vicious, nasty women around, but that is a mindset, not an entire gender..

I was INSTANTLY branded a feminist, and no doubt a man-hating one too, my him because he cannot bear ANY woman to even mildly suggest that he may be doing something unwise.....or, behaving like a total pillock, but at the time, I still believed he was genuine, so I gave him the benefit of the doubt...

Sunday
Hey everyone!

Thank you for your support and lovely messages.

My first and second meals were 2 boiled eggs and some toast. The eggs ensured I would not suffer with a nasty bout of diarrhoea and they worked. Such small meals also meant less chance of stomach cramps and I am glad to say I avoided them also. I also bought and took some multivitamins.

Yesterday evening I had a lamb Curry and it was good but it seems my taste buds have kinda stopped working properly. Everything has a bland taste at the moment. I assume that problem will go away later.

Apart from my dear friend Jess in the States I have pulled the plug on the world for a couple of days. I just decided I needed some time off. So I turned off all the phones and talked to no one but Jess and answered a few essential e-mails. I feel much better for having done so. I really needed the rest.

I cannot tell you what a strain this has all been on me. Physically I have been fine, but mentally I have been utterly exhausted by everything. I am pretty strong minded and have an iron will once I have made up my mind about something, but the pressure I have been under during this protest has been colossal.

I have learned a tremendous amount about people during this period. On the dark side I have learned how manipulative, vicious, cruel, self centred, politically ignorant, spiritually perverse, generally and personally negative and utterly false some people can be. Also, just how twisted and perverse the electronic and written media really is, with only two single exceptions. I also learned that if you refuse to jump through the political hoops of others their "concern" for your welfare is skin deep and they will turn on you in a moment. They have no honour and they are deceptive liars.

On the light side, I have been moved to tears again and again by peoples love, concern, tenderness, thoughtfulness, patience, willingness to help, their creative minds, their loyalty, their abiding willingness, despite their own horrible troubles and pain, to put all that aside and just lift me up with humour, positive support, offers of financial help, send me morale building cards they made themselves, faith in me and what I was doing and being constant presence at all hours of the day and night here on FB, ready to help in any way they could. Thank you, all of you, you are a credit to humanity and by your actions you have put that rats nest at the house of Commons and that den of vipers in the media to shame.

Health wise I am fine. I weighed myself when I rose this morning after the best nights sleep in ages to find I weigh 212.02 lbs. Up from the last day of my hunger strike when the figure was 207.04. Almost 5 pounds up!

To my loyal and wonderful supporters......

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH.

Now, this is only a brief respite. I have NOT given up. There are too many people out there going through hell to just abandon them and I have no intention of doing so. On July 20th at midnight I will begin another 40 day hunger strike.

I really need your help for this guys. I need a new and bigger support base of people willing to give up their time to work for this fight. People with enough guts and fire in their belly to be ready to make a difference. Will you help me raise a new army?

If the answer is yes, then when the next Cunning plan is ready, spit on your hands, roll up your sleeves and go on a recruiting drive. Expect problems because there WILL be some. Once again the wheat will have to be sorted from the chaff. That is inevitable but if we do a good the job the wheat we get will be all we need.

So, are you up for it? A nice two week break and then some hard work.

Please don't waste your time and mine trying to talk me out of this either. I appreciate your concern, but save that for the mother who has had her benefits removed by some faceless nerk in an office somewhere with all the compassion of a dead shark. She may be faced with trying to feed her children, coping with a mass of bills, fearing eviction, bailiffs and who knows what. So let's keep our concern focussed upon her and others like her and bringing this government and their lackeys to book.

Onwards and upwards friend. Phase two begins on July 20th. Let's go get 'em! And let's stay positive!

George Rolph.
